Poor Savanna!

Well we had our first real snowfall of the season and had to go outside to play in it.  Mommy was so excited to take the girls out there.  This was the first year that the girls go actually go out and walk around in it.  As you can see, Savanna did not take to it but Ella really started to enjoy it.  We had to cut our time short though because Savanna was so upset.  When we got inside Ella wanted to go back outside again.  They definitely have different personalities and with each new experience it is so fun to see how they respond.  When I look at this picture they look so big.  I wonder where the time went?  19 months and counting!

 Happy New Year!
We love to push our tower down!

We really enjoyed our Christmas this year with the girls.  They really got into the unwrapping of gifts and eating the many different kinds of Christmas food especially the cranberries!  Our girls are so lucky to have such wonderful family and friends.  The girls were spoiled with many gifts including the new Rock n Roll Elmo, Sesame Street house with characters, doll strollers for each girl and so much more!  We are so blessed for all that share their love with our girls!  As far as our New Years, it was quiet and we spent it at home.  Our neighbors came over and the kids all played together which was nice.  The girls enjoyed trying juice boxes and eating all the junk food we had.  We are all looking forward to 2012!

This Fall we decided to update our family pics outside.  My friend from high school who took the girls birthday pics also did our family pics.  We really got some good pics that day.  Ron and I love the outdoor setting!  Savanna had a little more single shots then Ella because she was having a better day.  Ella was just getting over being sick so she wasn't completely herself yet.  Overall, they both did great and I was able to get at least one family picture that I love.  So it was a successful photo shot!  This Thanksgiving, the girls really enjoyed eating turkey and cranberries!  Since they couldn't participate in this last Thanksgiving, they really got their full this year.  These girls really like to eat!  Ron and I are so thankful for our little girls!  They bring such joy to our lives!  I can't imagine life being any different.

Halloween Fun!

Library Group!
 Daddy's  Birthday!

The girls had a great Halloween!  For the first time, they went trick or treating around the neighborhood and really got the hang of it!  Savanna really wanted to eat her goldfish crackers out of her bag but had to wait until she got home.  Ella just enjoyed going to each house filling up her bag.  The girls also celebrated at their library group.  They got to wear their costumes, read Halloween books and sing songs.  They had a blast!  In October, we also celebrated Daddy's 30 birthday!  The girls wore cute Halloween tutus and really enjoyed being with the family.

Ella loved the pumpkin patch and didn't want to leave!

We spent the day at Cosley Zoo which is celebrating the month of October by adding a pumpkin patch.  The weather was beautiful and we had a fun time spending the morning there.  Ella especially loved the pumpkin patch area.  She cried when we left!  Savanna enjoyed walking around the field area.  Both girls really liked their small pumpkins.  I think they like the fact that they can hold it easily.  What a fun day at the zoo!

Eating at our trailer!

Well we found out two new things about the girls from our trip (as Daddy says) the girls are great little campers and they love grilled cheese!  We couldn't have asked for a better trip!  The weather was beautiful everyday and the family was all together to share this first experience with us.  We went on many walks through the campsite and visited the beach a few times.  Along with a visit to the Apple Fest in town and to make the trip complete a night out at Port Sandy Bay Restaurant (where the girls had their first grilled cheese.)  I have to admit I was a little nervous about how the girls were going to do on their first trip but was so pleased to know that they really enjoy their time there and that they slept in their pack n plays.  Mommy and Daddy can't wait to take the girls again next year!
