First Zoo trip at 6 months old!

 

We enjoyed a beautiful day at the zoo this year for the twins bday zoo trip! The weather was perfect and the girls enjoyed themselves as usual.  This time they really wanted to see the giraffes, zebras, hippos and dolphins of course.  We made it to all of those animals and a few more plus a carousel ride as well.  Always enjoy these fun days with my girls!!!  It is always exhausting but worth it!

Addison at 7 Months:

You weigh around 14 pounds and are 25 and half inches long! This is your biggest gain yet!

You still love to be held a lot and my arms get tired but I'm soaking it in because I know you wont always like this.  Plus I use the bjourn a lot which helps.

You starting going in the stroller where you can sit up and love that!  We go on a lot of walks!

You still don't eat any baby food.  The only thing you will eat is regular applesauce.  I have a feeling you are going to skip the baby food stage.

You eat around 5 ounces of formula each bottle give or take and you have about 5 feedings a day

You are still getting up at night to eat.  Usually around 10 or 11 and then again in the early morning

This is one of her favorite toys these days.  Addison loves to jump she even sometimes jumps in our laps.  I remember the girls liking this toy as well when they were her age.  It's fun to see these toys again and remember all the great memories but also make new ones too!

The girls celebrated their 4th birthday yesterday on June 1st with a family party.  This year they went on and on about having a Sheriff Callie birthday party but last minute decided that Frozen would be better.  So we switched quickly and went into full Frozen mode.  Each girl likes a different princess from the movie so they each got a different dress this year with their favorite.  Ella loves Elsa and Savanna loves Anna.  They were so excited for their birthday and their party this year.  They just love celebrating birthdays!  That is one their favorite things to pretend when they are playing with each other.  This birthday will be a big year for the girls because they start preschool this fall!  They also will be taking their first ballet and tap class through the park district.  I can't believe they are four already and can't wait to continue our little adventures together!  Happy Birthday Twinkies, we love you!!!
