The girls were really excited about coloring Easter eggs this year!  As soon as they saw the kit that I brought home they wanted to get started.  So I prepared the eggs and the next day we colored to our hearts content.  This year was a little different because they did it mostly by themselves which they loved.  Ella was a little more gentle with handling the eggs where Savanna was super excited and in a rush.  She couldn't wait to get to the next one then the next one...!  She spilled a little dye here and there but had a lot of fun.  Ella too!  Addison is not pictured here because she was napping during it all but I'm sure next year she will be ready and willing to get into the festivities.  Today the girls and I went to visit the Easter bunny.  I will upload that picture soon because it's too funny not to share.  Addison's face especially is priceless!  So stay tuned!

We officially have a walker in our house!  Addison began taking some steps back in February but just shy of her 16 month birthday she really started walking!  Since then she has gain some speed and is getting fast.  She for sure walks more than she crawls.  It amazes me how quickly she has gain confidence in walking over such a short period of time.  It's so cute to see her walking around but also a lot of work too!  I have had to start blocking areas to get anything done and this week she learned how to move one of those blockers.  Smart cookie!  Oh how I love that little girl!  She definitely keeps me on my toes!!!



Cinderella Movie!

To the movies we go!  Today I took the twins only out for a fun mommy/daughter day at the movies.  We met friends there and had so much fun!  The twins of course wanted to wear their costumes because they don't get a chance to wear them often outside of the home.  The Frozen Fever movie was cute and Cinderella was just breathtaking!  From the costumes to the sets it was amazing.  Plus the beautiful message for young girls that was given throughout the entire movie was wonderful!  I definitely recommend it. I enjoyed spending the day just with the twins and I think they enjoyed that time together as well!

Traveling Bear Take Two!

 

 

 

The Traveling Bear is back again at our house!  Savanna decided to name her Sparkle May which sounds like a old southern name and  I have no idea where she came up with it but I thought it was too cute.  Tuesday after preschool Savanna finally got to have her turn at taking the bear home.  So to do something a little different from Ella's visit we decided to go to one of our favorite restaurants the Train place!  The twins and Addie love going there plus the adults do too because the food is so good.  The bear got to even ride the train there which Savanna thought was pretty awesome.  Sparkle May went to the shoe store with us as well because the twins had a growth spurt and were in need of new gym shoes. She tried on shoes right along with Savanna which was pretty fun in kid world.  She also played dress up with Savanna because of course this bear needed a makeover naturally.  Then Savanna sang songs and danced along with Sparkle May.  Last but not least Sparkle May was sure to get lots of cuddles too! 

Traveling Bear!

 

 

 

Ella had the Traveling Bear visit us from her Preschool class this week.  They did a lot of things together and Ella was so excited to have her here.  While the bear was here she decided to name the bear Snowflake and give her a girly makeover.  Together they played dress-up, went to the library, went to dance class, had a tea party, did a sticker book, read bedtime stories and snuggled while watching some cartoons.  All in all I think they had a fun time together.  Traveling Bear will be going to a new home on Thursday and then next week Savanna will be bringing her home with us again.  So stay tuned for her adventures with him.
