Here are my favorite pictures from Addison's six month professional pictures.  It's a little late posting this but I had to share because there are some really cute ones of her.  We did try to get more smiles that day but the more serious ones are also precious too.  Especially the one of her close up sitting in the box I'm in love with.   Next month I will be taking her for 9 month pictures already.  Time is really flying.  We are really enjoying having her as a part of our family.  She is such a sweet cuddly baby.  Love her to pieces!

Eight months old and she is finally starting to eat a little.  She seems to like prunes, mangos and applesauce.  I am still working on introducing some more baby foods slowly and I'm hoping she will be interested in more choices soon.  Of course, she doesn't like to be fed too much off the spoon she prefers to feed herself.  So this gets very messy but I don't mind as long as she is eating and enjoying her food.  I'm so glad we seem to be turning a corner with this.  Hopefully once she starts eating more she will be able to sleep longer at night too but one thing at a time.  Who knew eight months would be the magic number!

Our good friends recently had new babies and I'm so excited to have new little friends for Addie to play with.  Addison really isn't around babies too much so it was so fun to see her with them.  She just couldn't keep her eyes off of them.  She would just stare, look away and then stare again.  I think she wasn't sure what to think but was very content laying there.  These babies are so sweet and I can't wait to see them all grow up together!

Addison at 8 months:

You are wearing size 6 month clothing with size 2 diapers and still size one shoe

You love to rest your head on my shoulder and it melts my heart.  It's the sweetest thing.

You love baths and the baby pool.  You splash and even get it in your face but don't mind

You eat five times a day with 5 oz bottles
You love to growl and experiment with your voice
You say mum mum a lot and have for awhile I just forgot to post about it
You love to put everything in your mouth now

You love sitting up in the stroller and going for walks

You push your feet off the ground and move across the floor and you move in your crib.  Lately when I go to get you from naps or bedtime I find you all the way at the top of the crib by the bars.

You started to cry when something you want is taken away from you.  You let us know you are displeased.

You still don't eat any baby food

You still take 2 naps a day

You usually still wake up one time during the night for a bottle and go right back to sleep

You sit so well now and have been moving forward with both hands onto your tummy.  Getting ready to crawl!

We enjoyed so many activities this fourth.  The twins were really busy but they loved every minute!  Where we live they do a lot on the 3rd so that kick started our festivities.  We went to a fest and then did fireworks with ice-cream yum!  The girls did so well with their first firework show this year!  They loved all of the colors and especially when they saw their favorite colors.  Then on the fourth we went to the parade in the morning which was so much fun and then went to party with sweet friends later on.  At the party the girls were busy playing in the jump house, playing on the slip n slide and swimming in the little pool.  They even got to do sparklers later on in the night!  I wasn't sure if they would be scared of them but they really seem to soak it in and enjoy it.  It was a fun Fourth and each year it gets more exciting to see it through their eyes.  They make the holidays even more fulfilling.  Love this girls to pieces!  God Bless America!!!
