The girls really enjoyed the holiday this year! We started the day by going to a local parade. This was the girls first parade and I'm glad we went because they really loved it. Savanna's favorite part was collecting the candy where Ella enjoyed gathering it and throwing it back to the crowd. I think she wanted to be a part of the parade! :) Next, we enjoyed the afternoon at our house in the backyard. The girls stayed busy with their kiddie pool, water table and lots of snacks. I guess all the action made them tired so around late afternoon the girls fell asleep in the family room which never happens. Later we had dinner and the girls fell asleep before the fireworks. Hopefully next year we can make it to the fireworks. These girls sure enjoy the holidays!
