One of the many things we like to do this summer is go to the Splash Pad.  The girls enjoy playing in the water and filling up their buckets when we are there.  Since it has been warm this month we like to go there a lot to cool off!  It's fun to get to do so many things outside in the summer!

The girls love to play dress up all day long lately.  Ella always likes to dress up as Snow White and Savanna likes to be Ariel.  They of course, need the crown and accessories to go with it as well!  They pretty much ask me to put their costumes on daily.  I don't mind because it is so sweet!  This is one of the best parts of having two little girls and one on the way.  Dress up time is so fun!

The girls really enjoyed the holiday this year!  We started the day by going to a local parade.  This was the girls first parade and I'm glad we went because they really loved it.  Savanna's favorite part was collecting the candy where Ella enjoyed gathering it and throwing it back to the crowd.  I think she wanted to be a part of the parade!  :)  Next, we enjoyed the afternoon at our house in the backyard.  The girls stayed busy with their kiddie pool, water table and lots of snacks.  I guess all the action made them tired so around late afternoon the girls fell asleep in the family room which never happens.  Later we had dinner and the girls fell asleep before the fireworks.  Hopefully next year we can make it to the fireworks.  These girls sure enjoy the holidays!
