We went over to my friend Natalie's house this year to bake cookies with the kids.  It was so much fun!  We made sugar cookies using different cutters and then the girls got to decorate them!  I always love to bake cookies around the holidays and it's always more fun when you get to do it with others.  What a wonderful day!

Christmas Card Pictures!

For our Christmas card this year I decided to take my own pictures in our backyard.  We have this cute little evergreen tree back there with this small bench which worked out perfect.  Of course, I had to use some props like suckers and candy canes but it worked like a charm!  The girls did great!

So every December 6th we celebrate this tradition in our household.  The girls put their shoes out by the front door the night before for St. Nick.  He fills their shoes with a little present which they find in the morning.  This year the girls got a new playdoh set with animal cutters and new coloring books!

Thankful!

Happy Birthday Nana!

So I know this is a late posting but our computer died and we just got a new one for Christmas.  We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year.  This time of year I always sit back and really enjoy how blessed we are in so many ways.  To see the holidays through the girls eyes is so much fun!  Its hard to imagine what it was like before they were here.  I am so thankful for my family and the joy they bring to me.

The girls had a great Halloween this year!  Savanna lead us around for trick or treating this time.  While Ella was shy at first but she came around after going to a few houses.  Since it was so cold we just went around the block and came back after that.  Then the girls helped daddy and I pass out candy.  Savanna especially loved watching through our front window and seeing all the kids in their costumes trick or treating!  It was so cute!  Happy Halloween!!!

Mommy carved a Mickey Mouse face on our pumpkin!

I decided to carve pumpkins with the girls this year!  I thought they would be good little helpers on getting all the seeds out.  Savanna was the first to try it after me of course.  She really didn't like the feel of it.  Ella went next and while she didn't also like how it felt she was willing to try it again.  Needless to say I did most of it but the girls still liked the whole experience.  Then, while they were napping I carved the pumpkin.  It was a fun day!
