Savanna is starting to walk!!!

Savanna has been taking a few steps for the past month and has been gaining confidence by holding on with one hand as she walks around the house.  Lately, she has been taking small strides from one object to the next but today she has been letting go and walking a far distance before she falls on her bottom.  She gets so excited and that is usually what makes her lose her balance and fall.  It is so exciting for mommy and daddy to see her walk too!  It's so cute because she is determined to walk and doesn't give up!  As soon as she falls she gets right back up again to try it another time.  What a trooper! 

Enjoying The Summer Sun!

Grandma and Grandpa Rich bought the girls these nice lawn chairs for their birthday and they love them!  The twins really enjoy being outdoors in the summer and this is a perfect way to take in the sunshine!

We had a great Fourth of July weekend spending it with our family.  The girls also got a new bench that is too cute!  It has zoo animals on it and it is mostly made of wood.  I think they will spend alot of time sitting on it in the future.  Ella liked it so much that she was upset when we took her off of it!  Too funny!

The girls finally got to use their swimming pool!  June has been such a rainy month that we haven't had a chance to use the girls swimming pool yet.  I don't know who was more excited.  Me or the twins?  Anyway, the girls really enjoyed playing in their pool.  I put some new soft sea toys in their pool along with some tub toys too!  They especially loved playing with their duck toy.  The fresh air combined with pool fun made the girls exhausted!  Afterwards, they took a long afternoon nap.  Hopefully there will be many more pool days this summer!  I am hoping for nice July weather that include less rain!

Happy Father's Day!

For this Father's Day we celebrated at the Jacob home.  The girls had their "I Love Daddy" shirt on although you can't see it in this pic.  They just adore their daddy!  Everyday when he arrives they give him their biggest smile and can't wait until he greets them.  It just melts your heart.  They enjoy being spending time with their daddy!  So needless to say the girls had a great father's day with their daddy and I had to snap a shot of the girls with their daddy.

Here are some of my favorite pictures from the twins birthday party and the next day when we opened presents.  The girls received many new clothes and toys.  We are extremely blessed with wonderful family and friends.

We're One!

The twins turn ONE!!!  I can't believe a year has gone by since I first met the girls.  They had a rough start as they entered the world but have come so far!  They are two little miracles that bring so much joy to our lives.  Mommy and Daddy are so lucky to have two healthy beautiful little girls! To celebrate this special milestone we went to the zoo.  Grandpa Bush and Grandma Rose joined us too!  The girls really enjoyed seeing all the animals.  The most exciting part of the day was when the girls started to wave good-bye to everyone.  They learned how to do that on their first birthday.  It was too cute!  Now, we are looking forward to their party this weekend!  We are praying for good weather.  More pics to come!
