The Disney Store!

Daddy bought the girls each a Minnie Mouse at the Disney Store yesterday.  They both were so excited to get Minnie especially Ella!  She didn't want to share when she got home and Savanna didn't really care either way which was good.

My First Mother's Day!

Unfortunately, Mothers Day brought ear infections, high fevers and stuffy noses for the girls.  They were really tired and out of sorts but my Mother's Day was still special because I spent it with them.  They made it eleven months now without getting sick and we knew eventually it was bound to happen.  Add teething into the mix and things get very complicated.  After several sleepless nights they are finally feeling better.  Now we are gearing up for their Minnie Mouse first birthday party.  I have been very busy with shopping for party items and making invitations for the party months in advance and now it is almost here.  In just two short weeks the girls will be turning one!  I can't believe our little girls are growing so fast.

The Girls Officially Have Teeth!

The girls have teeth!  Ella has two teeth on the bottom and Savanna has one.  As exciting as it is it also brings some discomfort for the girls.  They have been using some new teething toys recently and of course everything goes in the mouth!  So I am trying to consistantly rinse off the toys to keep the girls healthy.  Despite the discomfort, the girls have been doing very well with their new teeth.  Some days they do get a little cranky but this is to be expected.  I'm sure it is very painful!  This next month we are going to start some finger foods.  The girls are ready!

Ella Is Crawling Too!

Now we're in for some trouble!  Double Time!!!  The girls are both crawling.  Ella just started crawling last Saturday.  They are both now exploring our home in a different way.  The thing they love the most is climbing the steps and pulling themselves up to a standing position.  The other day I saw both girls standing in their crib!  I bet they will be walking before we know it!
