Getting Bigger Little By Little!

Well, apparently you don't need to order for two year olds anymore!  Ron and I went to a restaurant with the girls recently and when the waitress came over Savanna said she wanted chicken nuggets and fries.  Ella followed by saying she wanted grilled cheese and fries too!  Ron and I looked at each other in amazement and smiled!  These girls always seem to surprise us in so many ways.  You never know what they are going to say!

The girls got pillow pets for Christmas this year that they love!  Ella has a zebra and Savanna has a cow.  They like to play with them but also use them in their crib to rest on.  They love going around the house pretending to make their animal make sounds.  They sure love animals!  Maybe a future job?  Who knows...time will tell.

So we have been paci free for about two months!  The girls were only using their paci at nap and bedtime but I was a little nervous about taking it away.  I thought it was going to be a lot harder than it was.  It took about two weeks before they stopped asking for it.  When they asked I would just distract them and change the subject.  Above are few pictures of the good old days with the pacifier.  Another good-bye to babyhood!  Makes me a little sad although life without the paci is so much better.

We are still waiting for our first big snowfall but until then we had to explore the little bit of snow we did get.  The girls were so excited to check it out.  So we put on their new winter boots and took them out to see it.  Hopefully we will get at least one big snowfall so they can actually play in it a little more.  The other pics are just some snapshots I took around the house.

We had a quiet New Year's this year.  The girls and I got sick after Christmas so we looked forward to having a relaxing night at home.  The girls enjoyed watching their new Tinkerbell movie from Christmas.  Daddy and I enjoyed watching a movie on TV after they went to bed.  It was a nice evening at home!

These were a few pictures from all of our Christmas celebrations this year.  The girls received many gifts and are really lucky that so many people care about them!  They are really enjoying all of their new toys!  I think we may need a bigger house to fit everything!  :)
