We went to Brookfield Zoo today and has a blast with our friends Isabella and Ryan!  The girls enjoyed walking around the zoo and really looked forward to seeing the monkeys.  They also enjoyed petting and feeding the goats.  This was the first time they experienced this activity at the zoo.  We even got to see the zookeepers feed the penguins breakfast.  It is always fun to visit the zoo!

Cosley Zoo!

 The girls and I had a great visit today with their friends Ryder and Parker!  It was a perfect sunny summer day and the girls always enjoy seeing all the animals there.  Of course, this time was a little different from last October because the girls wanted to walk around.  They are definitely toddlers on the move!  All in all, we had a nice visit and the girls enjoyed their time there.

Our friend Sam, who started a photography business took the girls pictures this year.  She did a great job considering the heat that day and how shy the girls are.  I especially love the picture of Savanna smiling and the one of Ella looking off to the side!  I can't wait to get these pictures developed and into our home.

Two Year Old Check-up Today!

Today we had our two year old check-up with Dr. Zoe.  For the first time the girls were in the 85th and 90th percentile for their height!  To think that preemies could reach that is unbelievable.  These girls are going to be tall!  For their weight measurements, Ella was twenty-four pounds and Savanna was twenty-six pounds.  These little girls are growing fast.  It's so fun to see how big they are getting each time we go for a visit.  Our next check-up isn't until three which is going to feel really weird after going to the doctor's office so often.  Although I'm sure the girls will enjoy the break!
